In a jam band like the Dead, there are shows where nothing sounds particularly bad, but nothing really comes together either, and this is one of those shows. Garcia especially doesn't sound particularly well here. Not bad for something you could dance to in a fun crowd in 1985; I wouldn't spend a lot of time sitting & listening to it.

The sound on this recording is SMOKING... I remember being out in the small hall way that they had set up with speakers for the dancing room more or less. i was right next to mark steve and tall glenn with the long stringy hair. we were all looking at each other with the small throwing stones tease b4 he's gone. UI know I was thinking this is a dud why this run of shows wasnt like the fall of 84 shows one never knows. However I think we excpeted them to be off the charts . Not same as the 84's yet now looking back these were not as bad as i thought at the time....
